We source naturally grown Ceylon Cinnamon and Ceylon Tea from Sri Lanka (formally known as Ceylon). Sri Lanka has a favourable climate and ideal soil conditions for growing Cinnamon, Tea and many other foods. Cinnamomum Verum, which is the scientific name for Ceylon Cinnamon, is the inner bark of the cinnamon tree, which is dried and processed and packaged immediately to maintain the freshness. Cinnamon is a common spice among different cultures since it is used as a seasoning for a variety of sweet and savoury foods. It has been used for thousands of years due to its invigorating taste. Cinnamon is further classified into several types out of which the common two types are known as Ceylon cinnamon and Cassia cinnamon.
